A shocking news is coming from Bollywood. Actor Aamir Khan and his second wife Kiran Rao have decided to separate after 15 years of marriage. By issuing a joint statement, both of them have shared information about this through the media to their fans and well-wishers.
A statement issued by Aamir and Kiran said – In these beautiful 15 years, we have gained a lifetime of experience, good moments and laughter with each other. There was only trust, respect and love in our relationship.
Now we are starting a new chapter in our life – not as husband and wife, but as parents and family.We made the decision of separation a while back and now we are comfortable going through this process of separation, just like extended family lives.
We will remain devoted parents to our son Azad, whom we will raise and raise together. We will continue to work together in our films, Paani Foundation and other projects for which we are both passionate.

Aamir and Kiran Rao married on 28 December 2005 and both have a 10-year-old son Azad Rao Khan. It was Aamir’s second marriage to Kiran. His first marriage was to Reena Dutta on 18 April 1986. In 2002, Aamir divorced Reena. Both of them have two children Junaid and Aira from their first marriage.
